Our library began offering free Zoom virtual meeting rooms to area non-profit organizations. There’s a short hand-off period between us and the meeting’s organizer. These are my notes for very basic Zoom training topics.
Took a vacation day to wait for the Spectrum internet technician to fix our sporadic issues. Unresolved, but maybe we’re making progress. Or we switch to another provider. Still had plenty of time to run some errands (hello Target) and several walks with Teds. The cherry blossoms are in top form right now.
It’s been about a month since we moved two floors down to a new apartment. More space and a bar to sit at in the kitchen. Ted seems to be acclimating well. The first three weeks, Greg was still working from home. He’s back in the office for two more weeks, then home again. All is well and Ted is swell.
A celebration of the cherry blossoms along the towpath in downtown Akron on Saturday night. The trees were just beginning to bloom. The lanterns placed by Downtown Akron Partnership added a nice touch to the festive atmosphere. It was lovely to see masked people enjoying the evening. I know there were smiles under those masks. You could see it in their eyes.
A little close encounter with one of my succulents. This one is about 3 years old. I love its colorful tips and this tiny baby growing out of the side of the pot.
While the Main Street construction is wrapping up, for some reason, I was drawn up Mill Street this morning. I was greeted by a lovely sunrise. A stunning start to a day.
Today was all about state parks and lighthouses on the shores of Lake Michigan.
Greg snagged a video of me at the Grand Haven lighthouse. Here’s how he describes the video, “Michael wanted his picture taken next to the lighthouse whilst wearing the lighthouse T-shirt. I happened to be taking video of the perilous, choppy Lake Michigan conditions when he turned around and thought I was taking said picture. My favorite part is the momentary uncertainty of which hand should be pointing to which object. Coordination has never been his strong suit.”
